Expansion Joint, which gives the structural flexibility from temperature variation, drying shrinkage, or live load, is not only a primary material but also frequently damaged one from bridge structure. It causes durable problem on bridge structure due to traffic increases, re-installation, etc.

As a specialist in the maintenance and safety assessment of construction based on know-how of field experience since 1999, we, IlwontechCo.,Ltd.,found out the problems in of inevitable re-construction existing expansion joint system and devised a new expansion joint system for easier maintenance, which is only exchange the part. As a result, we registered over 20 different patents and utility models with certified as Advanced Construction Technology No. 627 by MLTMA(NET), New Excellent Product(NEP) by MKE, Performance of Expansion Joint by SMBA, Excellent Product by PPS.

Also, we developed and apply preventive maintenance product on Asphalt, called RE-ASCON, to extend decrepit asphalt life upto 4~5 years by coating its surface with polymer-combined Bitumen.
